Owner Richard “Hitch” McCulloch is a graduate of Colorado State University in Rangeland Ecosystem Science and has over 30 years of ecological service experience in the western U.S.

More About Hitch
Hitch graduated from CSU with a degree in Rangeland Ecosystem Science in 1989. From 1979 to 1989, he worked as a practicing arborist, and from 1989 to 1992 was the head soil scientist and plant biologist for METRIC Corp., based in Albuquerque, NM. In 1992, he returned to Fort Collins, where he established Fort Collins Tree Care. In 1994, he created Sustainable Vegetation Management as a daughter company of Fctreecare. His certifications include being a certified arborist ISA number, as well as a licensed commercial applicator (#333) in categories 107, 108, 109, 206, and 207.
